The Bihar Board Class 10 results for 2026 were announced on March 29, 2026. Girls secured the top positions. Pushpanjali Kumari of Jamui and Samreen Praveen of Vaishali topped the exam with 492 out of 500 marks. The Bihar government has showered awards on the toppers. This year, 81.79% of students passed the Bihar Board Class 10 exam.

1. Prizes for first place winners

3. The government has announced a cash prize of Rs 200,000 for those securing first place.

6. Under the 'Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad Merit Scholarship' scheme, these toppers will also get a scholarship of ₹2000 every month.

7. Iran to second place finishers

8. Students who have secured second position in class 10th of Bihar Board will be given a cash reward of Rs 1.5 lakh by the government.

9. These students will also be given a laptop and Kindle e-book reader.

Those who come in the top 10 will also get a gift

The Bihar government hasn't just opened its prize purse for the top three. Students in the top ten will also receive laptops along with cash. This means that students in the top three to top ten will receive prizes ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000.

The Bihar government already implements several programs to encourage students to pursue higher education. To further encourage students to pursue higher education, scholarships will now be awarded to those who rank in the top ten in the state board exams. The scholarship amount will be deposited directly into the student's bank account, ensuring they don't face financial difficulties pursuing further education.
