Pushpanjali Kumari of Jamui and Samreen Praveen of Vaishali topped the exam with 492 out of 500 marks. The Bihar government has showered awards on the toppers. This year, 81.79% of students passed the Bihar Board Class 10 exam.

The Bihar government hasn't just opened its prize purse for the top three. Students in the top ten will also receive laptops along with cash. This means that students in the top three to top ten will receive prizes ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000.
